Rain blanketed the city by about 2:00 pm. I knew almost instantly that it was going to put a big damper on my dinner and movie birthday party event. Had it not been so cold outside, I would have considered risking it, but instead I pushed the event to next weekend. Many people ended up agreeing that next weekend would be better. As it turns out, quite a few people around the dorms are getting the sickness too. Winter--what would we do without it?
On the optimistic note, I was able to get a couple of fairly decent shots around the neighborhood with the camera. I practiced creating a movie opening and came up with something pretty cool. Won't post anything just yet, as I want to get a bit more filmed with John first.
