Weather for Central Park

So I haven’t updated with anything major in a long time… just in case you didn’t know… School’s been keeping me MORE than busy, presenting more and more assignments each week. I’ve certainly been learning more and more about myself as an actor.

Today, however, the weather was just too great to just sit inside and be a bum… So Courtney and I headed out to Central Park after getting a slice of pizza and met up with AJ. Afterwards we headed over to Borders to try and find a required book for one of our classes and then to Five Guys for a burger. To conclude the evening, we watched three full episodes of Band of Brothers. Such a great day!!!

A Word From C.S. Lewis

"A man’s physical hunger does not prove that man will get any bread; he may die of starvation on a raft in the Atlantic. But surely a man’s hunger does prove that he comes of a race which repairs its body by eating and inhabits a world where eatable substances exist. In the same way, though I do not believe (I wish I did) that my desire for Paradise proves that I shall enjoy it, I think it a pretty good indication that such a thing exists and that some men will. A man may love a woman and not win her; but it would be very odd if the phenomenon called “falling in love” occurred in a sexless world.” - C.S. Lewis

What is Lewis trying to say? Our simple craving for something (tangible or intangible) proves that what it is we are craving exists. We are born with these desires, and therefore carry the very proof that Paradise exists.
